The new Food Court of Orio Center
Wood Beton engineered and built the complex wooden structure of the new Food Court in Orio Center.
It is a structure composed of tree shapes that cover and wrap eight columns: each tree consists of 26 “branches” that start from the floor and reach the false ceiling and the glass roof.
Among the branches there are round wooden elements with a diameter of 5 cm and for each tree there are two curved laminated wood leafs, suitably worked and shaped.
The entire structure has been pre-assembled at the foot of the work, in groups of 6/7 branches for each tree: this has allowed to significantly reduce the installation time.
